Research conducted by the UK government in 2025 found that the average cost of a cyber attack runs to nearly £195,000, demonstrating how significant a cyber security breach can be, particularly for smaller businesses.

Collectively, cyber attacks are estimated to cost the country’s economy a staggering £14.7 billion per year. When you understand the scale of the issue, it’s easier to see why so many businesses believe they would be unable to survive such a breach.
